Cornbread Cafe is growing! But, due to many unexpected and costly obstacles along the way, we’re in need of more funds so we can open our doors this year. This campaign is a way for our customers to be part of a community project that, in turn, gives back to the community as part its mission. We’re so close we can taste it! Can you help?
Our funding goals for this campaign are Dishes, Tables & Chairs, and Lighting
About the location: The beautiful, spacious 1911 building, with its original hardwood floors and high ceilings, fits perfectly into Cornbread Cafe’s vintage theme. While our Eugene location is a historic diner, that honors its 1950’s roots, the Springfield location will take guests back in time by paying homage to an exciting history in a once, and soon-to-be-again, bustling downtown. Cornbread Springfield is sure to be a destination place, just like our Eugene location.
Furnishings from the early 1900’s will tie in prohibition, speakeasy, and jazz themes. And additional menu items will be heavily influenced by Cajun and Creole cuisine, bringing a touch of New Orleans. Our core menu will include most of the items that are currently available in Eugene.
This will be a family-friendly community space, where all are welcome. The larger venue and stage will allow us to increase our community fundraising efforts significantly. We’ll also have a rich 21+ nightlife with a full bar and local and touring bands, playing everything that feels good: Blues, Jazz, Ragtime, Bluegrass, Big Band, Folk, Funk, Swing, and so much more!

$5 + Public thank you, invitation to a pre-opening party, and your name prominently displayed in the restaurant.
$50 + Public thank you, invitation to a pre-opening party, and your name prominently displayed in the restaurant, plus a $25 gift card to use in Springfield when we open.
$100 + Public thank you, invitation to a pre-opening party, your name prominently displayed in the restaurant, plus a $50 gift card to use in Springfield when we open.
