Hello all, I come here with a very humbled heart to ask for help.

I’ve been through a lot lately so I thought I’d just post here since I’ve gotten a few messages and right now it’s hard to answer. I get pretty stinkin tired fast or I’m sitting on the toilet waiting for surgery to finish kicking my but with bowel movements

I’ve known something was wrong for a long time, over a year and I’ve been going to see drs for awhile but they all thought it was in my head and I got dismissed. They thought that since every time I got vitals and labs done and they came back perfect, Some said the best they’ve seen I must be faking. I felt like I was always in a fog and had absolutely no energy and daily life was kicking my butt

Finally, in October my pain was too much and I went to the ER and the dr there had to put a stent in my bile duct. He said the infection was really bad and my body was in sepsis and shutting down. Since I have an abnormally shaped duct the stent was the most he could do. He was very insistent on me seeing a specialist he said from what he could tell it looked bad. I wasn’t in anymore pain and I tried and tried to get through to a specialist, tried and tried getting my insurance to refer me, constantly hitting brick walls but the ER dr kept calling me multiple times a day to tell me how important it was. I just couldn’t get in at all. He was very very invested in me and my health and I can’t praise him enough.

One day I woke up in a ton of pain and my ER dr told me to go to a different hospital and their ER because they had a gastroenterologist team that was amazing. I went and even though I was in pain and I was in the ER, again my labs and vitals were coming back perfect and they felt like I was faking. I was even crying I was in so much pain but dang those docs have seen it all and are hardened souls Then they read a letter from the ER dr that he emailed me when I told him they were trying to send me home and did a CT scan and saw there was some stuff going on but still didn’t think it was much.

They tried to do the surgery laparoscopically but there was so much inflammation and infection they had to cut me open.

They said my immune system must be amazing for my labs to come back so great because I had a lot of infection and puss in my abdomen not just my gallbladder but also my kidneys, liver and pancreas and all the stones shocked them. My gallbladder didn’t have an once in it with no stone. They said I should’ve been in more pain a long time ago and probably should’ve died last year. Never once a fever, or a major spike or decrease in my blood pressure. They spent an entire day cleaning me out and removing my innards. Lol! They want to study my anomaly of an immune system now and said they’ve never seen anything like it

Guess that’s my super power lol

Anyways, I’ll be checking out of the hospital soon and it’s been 8 days of them making sure I’m still not overrun with infections.

My journey isn’t over. Have to have at least one more procedure done in the near future but the Drs there want me to do some healing first. My Drs told me my recovery for this is 6 to 8 weeks but everyday I’m feeling better and better and like the fog has lifted and some of my happiness is back and anxiety faded.

I can definitely use all the prayers anyone has to give and my little ladies have been amazing troopers through all of this and I’m extremely glad to not be dead

i haven’t been able to work and things are very very tight and stressful monetary wise. If it’s out on your heart to help us right now please know I’m extremely appreciative
