Corine (Cyrus) Bastien

My name is Michelle, and I am fundraising for Corine (Cyrus) Bastien “Cori” and her family. Cori was my cousin but more like a sister to me and she was a bright star in our family. We lost Cori on Feb 21st in a tragic unexpected incident. More importantly Cori’s sons Xavier (age 10) and Marcus (age 7) lost their mother.

The unimaginable burden of funeral and burial costs are overwhelming and we are trying to lift that burden. Funeral and burial costs will be in excess of 15k, and we would like to also leave a legacy for her sons so any excess money raised will be donated to Xavier and Marcus for their future.

Cori was a bright spark in this world that radiated love and kindness to all and will be deeply missed. She touched the lives of so many and it's our turn to give back to her and her family in their time of need.

As a dedicated nurse practitioner, Cori devoted her life aiding those less fortunate, leaving an indelible mark of fairness and love on all she touched. Her contagious laughter filled every room, creating an atmosphere of joy and warmth that will be forever cherished. The unwavering love she had for her sons Xavier and Marcus is a timeless testament to a mother's enduring devotion, shaping their lives with the gift of warmth, guidance, and boundless affection.

Cori’s presence illuminated the lives of all who knew her. She possessed a rare ability to uplift others, offering solace during times of hardship and celebrating joyous moments with an infectious spirit. Cori’s legacy shines as a beacon of hope and love, leaving an irreplaceable void in her absence. In mourning, we celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the lasting influence she leaves behind. May she rest in peace, forever cherished and never forgotten.
