Corina Tapia has battled with lupus for several years now but as of about 3 weeks ago things went very bad, very quick. She was life flighted to OHSU in Portland, OR due to this ongoing battle. Since being there she has suffered from seizures, a collapsed lung, organ failure, staph and sepsis infection, been in and out of a coma and as of yesterday (12/10) she had to get surgery to get a tracheostomy. Right when she starts making little improvements and is seeming to get better, something else happens. 

Corina is such a giving and strong person with a love for life and especially family. She’s a full time student and is pursuing her dreams of becoming an elementary school teacher, while working a full time job on top of that. The last thing we want her to worry about when she is able to get back on her feet is this financial burden. 

Donations will help cover her medical bills, personal bills and day to day expenses. We hope this will help her to not have stress financially when she comes home after beating this illness.
