Corina Haralson is known to others as a beautiful and bright soul; she puts others before her and takes care of everyone she encounters. She also has a mean swing when it comes to hitting that golf course - so if you're up for some fun, she is your girl! Our wonderful friend, daughter, cousin, sister and wonderful human has been battling breast cancer since October 2021. Upon being hit with the heavy news of being diagnosed with stage 3 breast/lymph node cancer and her desire to grow a family. That prompted her to undergo two sets of fertility treatments. Calling for them to freeze her eggs since the cancer would need her to take medication for the next five years, causing harmful effects on her body and putting her dreams of a family at risk.
Following this treatment, Corina started her chemo journey a month later, requiring six rounds over five months. Resulting in an MRI that unfortunately showed active cancers. Despite the reduction of her tumor, she will now undergo surgery for a double mastectomy on June 30th, with a possibility of additional radiation post-operation. Like other women who have been affected and share the same fight, Corina lost all her hair, managed through emotional and physical challenges and underwent obstacles in her professional career.
We know she will be fighting the good fight for years to come, and her community is banding together to seek support from friends, family, others who share her experience and anyone willing to help her battle. We hope you take the time to consider supporting her journey; we have the utmost gratitude for taking the time to read her story and lend support to a beautiful human. Thank you - your support and allyship go beyond.
