Hello everyone!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.
I decided a couple months back that what I really wanted for graduation was some help towards getting the dog of my dreams--a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I've had dogs my entire life, and now that I'm free of a lot of the constraints of college, I want to get a dog of my own. However, I am a responsible dog owner, and I know that there are a lot of costs which go along with having a dog--especially a puppy!
Zach and I current have a lease in an incredibly dog friendly apartment (which actually has some corgi residents already) and live on the ground floor about 100 feet from the dog relief area as well as grooming area. We feel very prepared to take care of a dog between the two of us. We have picked out a breeder and already paid a deposit on the dog within a rough estimate of "Fall 2018" for when we will get the little bugger. The breeder has a website (with a lot of adorable pictures) http://www.dorseyscorgis.com/ and has been very responsive with all of our questions.
We haven't picked out a name yet, but we plan on getting a male dog, so feel free to post a name suggestion if you want!
Thank you for your help with this, big or small. I'm so excited to get this dog, and know that we (Zach and I) are actively saving towards this goal as well. All of the people in the "corgi community" have been incredibly helpful and honest, and we definitely feel we've picked the perfect pet.
