A Long Road Ahead

I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother, Corey, and his partner, Tammy, who in the early hours of Tuesday, 25 August 2026, were involved in a horrific home invasion.

Corey suffered life-threatening injuries and was placed into an induced coma while doctors worked tirelessly to save his life and his arm. He underwent an initial 14 hours of surgery to repair the devastating injuries to his arm and fingers, followed by facial and neck surgery to repair a large and serious wound. He then required further surgery to his abdomen.

As of this morning, Corey has been brought out of his coma, which is an incredible step forward. He remains in ICU, however, and will require further surgeries over the coming days. He has a very long road ahead of him and a lengthy recovery.

But if you know Corey, you’ll know he’s a fighter. ❤️ He’s the kind of bloke who is always the first to step up and help his family and mates when they’re doing it tough. He’s always been the life of the party, and we know he’ll fight his way back to being that person again.

Right now, we’re hoping to take away some of the financial pressure so Corey and Tammy can focus on what matters most — healing and recovery.
