Corey's Plea: Facing Eviction After Job Loss
Donation protected
My name is Corey Ivey. I am a former Help Desk Analyst for Northside Hospital in Atlanta. Back on November 12th I had called an ambulance for someone in the neighborhood that was unresponsive and the police and EMTs showed up. They ran my name and said I had an 8 year old traffic warrant that I didn't know about and while the person was being placed in an ambulance, I was arrested. It took 64 days for my attorney to get me out. By that time I was fired from my job.
After paying attorney fees and catching up with bills, I'm facing eviction at my apartment unless I can come up with the rent before the 15th of April. I've tried other sources, but at this point I don't know what to do. I really need help, in this economy, I really don't want to be homeless.
