Corey's Leukemia Battle
Donation protected
As many of you know that our fabulous friend Corey was diagnosed with Leukaemia around Mother’s Day (May 2020). Corey went from living her best life with her two girls, Mackenzie (12yrs) and Alyssa (8yrs) enjoying their new house to then receiving this shattering news after an emergency visit to hospital.
The next day of getting Corey’s results, she had to leave her girls in less than “24hrs” to go straight to Princess Margaret for 8 weeks to start treatments.
COVID-19 isolation is hard enough but to be away from your babies and family while living with cancer (alone), is an unimaginable experience.
This pretty lady has had the strength, drive, determination and love for her girls to KICK CANCERS ASS!!
Now, we need her family and friends to help Corey going, not only with her spirit, peace of mind and ongoing support. Corey has overcome so much so far with her chemo treatments to prepare her body for a BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT. If successful, it’ll put her into FULL remission and be “CANCER FREE”!!
Corey’s bone marrow transplant is scheduled for Feb 4th!!! After surgery, Corey will have to stay close to Princess Margaret Hospital and live downtown Toronto, just in case of emergencies.... There are many costs associated with living arrangements, medications, live-in medical homecare for 3 months, food, parking, etc
Please donate whatever you can. Every little bit counts. NOTE: funds that are not used, Corey will be donated directly to Princess Margaret Hospital where amazing people help amazing people!!
