Corey’s Battle: Rare Cancer and Hope
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
Since Coreys unexpected diagnosis in 2018, Corey has been locked in an unrelenting fight against a rare and aggressive form of cancer first leiomyosarcoma, then rhabdomyosarcoma. He’s endured rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, two major amputations second one being due to margins not being clear with the first amputation (including above‑knee), tumors in both lungs, thyroid cancer, multiple pulmonary embolisms and now a resurgence in his lymph nodes requiring another surgery.
Throughout it all, Corey has stayed humble, finding joy in simple moments previously riding his motorcycle, beach days, teaching his kids to ride bikes and being the steady provider at Toro in Tomah, WI before cancer changed everything. (He is now unable to ride motorcycle, get to beaches easily, work to provide for his family)
Now, with mounting medical expenses, rising bills, and his wife taking time off to care for him, the family is facing financial hardship.
Here’s how your support will help:
Cover treatments, medical bills, medications, and travel
Offset costs from multiple surgeries and rehabilitation
Support the household while Corey’s unable to work
Allow his wife to focus on caring for him without fear of financial ruin
Corey has one goal: to beat this. But he can’t do it alone. If you can’t give, please share your reach is its own kind of power. Every dollar and every share brings them hope and breathing room.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Corey and his family. Let’s give them one less thing to stress about so they can fight with everything they’ve got.
With gratitude,
