Corey T. Richardson Beats Cancer A Second Time
We are raising money to help Corey pay for his medical bills and treatments from his second bout with cancer.
We all know Corey as a very funny, courageous, lively person! He is always very active, loves to sing, dance, spend time with his family and live life! Most of all, Corey enjoys being able to work and provide for himself and his family. In May 2018, Corey battled a huge 17-pound cancerous tumor in his stomach and overcame this with the love and support of his friends and family!
Corey was healthy for about 2.5 years. He was in the midst of recovery from his first surgery and was able to work and lead an independent life.
Unfortunately, Corey’s health took a negative turn when he began to experience symptoms that were similar to those that he had from his first stomach tumor. Although Corey realized that these symptoms of nausea, increased sleeping and tiredness, and poor appetite could very well be a sign that he had cancer again, he fought tooth and nail to maintain an active normal life. That is until his oncologist diagnosed him with having another cancerous tumor in his stomach.
On December 9th Corey was hospitalized and underwent an extensive surgery removing not one but three tumors! Corey is now on the mend and needs our help now more than ever!
