Corey Strong

Hey family & friends, this is something I never thought I would have to type up and share or even ask for in that matter. For the past month or two, Corey has been dealing with extreme to mild headaches. After some rest and some medicine, he could get it under control for the most part. Yesterday, 2/23/25, he had a really bad headache that he couldn’t get under control. If you know Corey, he isn’t one to ask to go into the hospital unless it’s bad enough. Well, it was! As soon as he got to the ER, his blood pressure was extremely high, 187/137, which is considered a hypertensive crisis. They did some lab work that ended up coming back with extremely high kidney function and he was told he would be getting transferred to Sioux Falls by ambulance. His kidneys are at the point he might need dialysis. He also underwent a head CT scan and that came back normal, thankfully! We are unsure of what's causing his kidney levels to be high it could be so many reasons.

( Kidney infction, Blood presure meds, heart failure, salt intake, food diet, energy drinks, ect )

As of right now, he will be in the ICU in Sioux Falls. We are unsure for how long; all they said is to plan on being here for a couple of days. ( Maybe a week ) He has some medical insurance, but it definitely won’t cover all of this (ER visit, ambulance ride, CT scan, ICU, ect.) as well as being out of work and still having personal bills to pay if you would like to help you can donate on here or to the venmo below. All money raised will go directly to him unfortunately when one gets sick bills never end. Please keep him and our boys in your prayers.
