My name is Nathan Mullen, and alongside my sister Tomeca Mullen, we are Cory’s older brother and sister. With heavy hearts, we are creating this GoFundMe to help our family lay our beloved brother, **Corey Mullen**, to rest.

Cory was truly one of a kind.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Cory attended **John F. Kennedy High School**, where his vibrant personality began to flourish. He was gifted with a natural ability to shine—whether he was dancing, rapping, cracking jokes, or performing at major events throughout the city. Cory was a **comedian, dancer, rapper, entertainer**, and a true creative soul whose presence lit up every room he entered.

He was also once a **devoted husband**, a loving family member, and a fiercely loyal friend. Cory’s charm, humor, and warmth touched countless people, and his infectious laughter could lift even the heaviest spirits.

What truly guided Cory’s life was his **strong belief in Jesus Christ**. He was a proud Christian who leaned on his faith during hard times and always spoke openly about his love for God. Cory believed deeply in God’s grace, mercy, and promises. Even in his struggles, he never lost sight of his faith, and he often reminded others to keep trusting in the Lord. His love for Jesus shaped the way he lived, loved, forgave, and encouraged others.

Our family is devastated to share that Cory **passed away suddenly due to complications from a heart condition**. Losing him so unexpectedly has left us heartbroken beyond measure.

To add to this tragedy, Cory had recently started a new job, and his **life insurance benefits were not yet active**, as he had not reached the six-month requirement. This has placed a significant financial burden on our family as we try to honor Cory with the dignified homegoing he deserves.
