On behalf of Liz White and her daughter, Scarlette

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I am Meg, and I am a friend of Liz White’s. As many know already, Liz’s daughter Scarlette lost her father to a senseless act of violence on October 24th. I spent yesterday with Liz and Scarlette as they celebrated her 4th birthday, and today, was with Liz as she said goodbye to Corey.

Liz is a young, hardworking single mom, who herself lost her mother not long ago. She is kind, loving, gentle, and sweet. She is also proud, and would not ask this for herself. She tries so hard to provide a good life for Scarlette, but is now tasked with raising her little girl without the financial or emotional support that she needs. She and Corey were not together. There is no life insurance, no child support, no relief. I am asking for any financial assistance my friends and family (and those whom I don’t know) might be willing to offer to her in order to ease her burden moving forward. 100% of the donations will be given to Scarlette’s care.
