I am the Aunt of a very special individual. His name is Corey Crawford. Corey is a 6' 5" 19 year old (big teddy bear )who leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets with his amazing smile. He is a Christian and truly loves and worships God. Corey is attending Findlay University and playing football. When home for Thanksgiving, Corey was taken to the emergency room for severe stomach pain. A scan was taken, and he was released with orders to see a specialist. After blood work and more scans, on December 4th, it was diagnosed that Corey had testicular cancer. After seeing an Oncologist, Corey was scheduled for a PET scan and biopsy. Last Friday, January 5th, just one month later, Corey and his family were hit with the devastating news that Corey's cancer was an aggressive cancer, and that his PET scan showed it had spread to his lymph nodes in his abdomen, lungs and neck.
Many have asked how they can help or contribute. As anyone who has ever met this young man knows, he's a very special individual with an amazing heart. I started this fund to help with Corey's medical expenses and any needs that may be revealed as he continues to attack this new challenge in his life.
