Supporting the Allport Family after the Tragic loss of Corey

Hi my name is Kerry close friends of mine recently had the most devastating and heartbreaking loss. Here’s their story…

Corey was a wonderful 13-year-old boy who loved playing on his computer and spending time with his family and friends. Corey always had a smile on his face; he was the kindest soul who always made those around him smile too.

On Easter Monday, 13-year-old Corey joined his Mum, Charlie, for what should have been a short 30-minute round trip to pick up his older brother. Tragically, they never made it. On their way, they were involved in a devastating car accident in Godstone. Heartbreakingly, Corey lost his life. His Mum, Charlie, sustained major injuries and was airlifted to Kings, where she has undergone several operations and was placed in a medically induced coma to aid her recovery. Charlie’s path to recovery will be long, taking many months with more operations scheduled.

Corey’s father, is trying to cope with the unimaginable death of his young son while supporting their other son, remaining by his wife’s side, and planning a funeral no parent should ever have to arrange.

This GoFundMe aims to provide help and support to the Allport family as they navigate this tragedy.

The funds will help with funeral expenses not covered, a headstone, a celebration of Corey's young life, hospital travel, and general support as the family works through their immense grief.
