Hi my name is Raven. I’m Corbin’s mom. On Friday Dec 29 my son collapsed from apparent cardiac arrest. He just turned 18 on Dec 12th. He was taken from Kenosha and raced to Milwaukee. He had multiple organ failures. Drs were able to get his heart back after working on him for 90 minutes. Over the next few days he was in a coma and his body was healing. All his organs healed. January 2nd they said he was brain dead. Drs have no explanation as to what caused any of this to happen. Just that he had RSV. He has an 8 month old baby girl that he loved so very much. I haven’t been to work since all this has happened so I could be by his side. First night out to Milwaukee my tire went flat and took a day to get home pretty much giving out. Kinda thought it was a sign that he didn’t want me to leave. Now it’s just trying to process this while helping his girlfriend through it too. We all are devastated as this was so unexpected His siblings are crushed. He was such a loving kid and would help anyone out. He was loved by so many ppl. His smile and personality drew ppl in. The world just isn’t the same. He will be giving a gift of some organs to help other ppl as I know he would want to. His girlfriend, baby and I are hoping for help to pay for his funeral cost and some of the financial burden that is going to rise. Anything would be helpful.
