Corbett's Garage Rebuild A Legacy Fund

On a normal sunny day in June, everything changed in an instant. Our family run auto shop, Corbett's Garage was completely destroyed by fire. Since 1971 this business has stood proudly on this property and the business has been built up slowly, but progressively over the last 54 yrs. It all started with a dream and a single bay wooden garage with a dirt floor and cardboard as ground cover to lie under a jacked up car for repairs. This family legacy was built with grit, hard work, sleepless nights, determintation and heart.

This fire took more than a building - it took a lifetime of memories, tools and history. Thankfully no one was injured and that is a blessing in itself. We are incredibly grateful to all the firefighters who fought to save what they could. There was Insurance for the loss of customer vehicles, but none for the loss of the building and its contents.

We want to thank our amazing team especially Austin Feltmate, for their loyalty and hard work. Austin has lost all of the tools he owned to earn an honest living and has to start rebuilding his tools and equipment. Our small shop always aimed to deliver honest work at a fair price to our community.

We are reaching out to our community, friends, family and anyone who has ever driven away from our small shop with a smile to aak for your help and support. Any donation will help rebuild this legacy and rebuild Kent and Austins livelihood. This is about rebuilding a dream in the face of adversity, it's about resilience, community and carrying on a family tradition that means the world to us.
