Cora's medical bills

As most all of my friends and family know, my dogs are my life. On Friday October 7th, Cora was in a tragic accident which caused major damage to majority of her body. People have been asking for the full details... I hate to disclose it but she was attacked by another dog... one that was a rescue in my own house. I've always kept them separated due to them not getting along however they have known each other and have been around each other for 1.5 years. I recently moved to a new city and into a new house where the set up of the house is different from ours back home. On this particular day they were of course separated. Cora has a fear of rain and storms and she jumped the baby gates to run upstairs. Cora's instinct is to run and jump into my bathtub and that's what she was trying to do. Unfortunately in my new house Bella is kept upstairs and also separated by a baby gate. With all of the excitement Bella pushed her baby gate down and attacked Cora. Had I not come home when I did Cora would have been dead. I found them upstairs in my bathroom still latched onto one another. (Bella is fine) Cora has been in the hospital since hooked up to IVs for fluids and on intense pain meds and antibiotics. The doctors change her bandages and clean her wounds on her legs every morning. She is confined to a small kennel and they rotate her every four hours. She has yet to be able to stand but she is trying which is what we want to see. I have been able to visit her daily and up until yesterday she has been slowly progressing . I received a phone call from her surgeon telling me that the tissue on her left leg is dying and that there is no blood flow and he is 90% sure they will need to amputate. This is extremely heart wrenching to hear and I have been praying for a miracle. I will find out for certain today wether or not this will happen.

I would do anything for my dogs as they are my children. They are my life and bring me so much joy. It is already a miracle that Cora is alive. Hopefully I will be able to bring her home soon but we need to do what is best for her medically. I am asking for help as her medical bills are piling up. In addition to the costs for her medicine, bandages, etc... It costs $400 every day she stays in the hospital. Anything you are willing to contribute would be appreciated by myself and Cora.
