3/23/2025 Cora Catharine Bonds was born on 9/5/1991. She came late, past her due date and left too soon, taking her light, her music, her charisma. If you met Cora, you were affected by Cora. She left an indelible print on all who passed by. People noticed her striking, beautiful eyes, her tall, dignified stance, her haunting singing voice, and her bright, intellectual personality. She struggled with mental illness, overcame barriers, worked with it; it overcame her by pulling her away to Florida. She was hit by a car while walking with her guitar at just 33 years old. If you can, please help us with unexpected funeral costs and our goal of $10,500. Thank you so much!

3/28/2025. We are bringing her home from Tallahassee today, her and her belongings, from the funeral home in Quincy, Florida. This expense alone liquidates half of what we collected here; we need burial, ceremony and miscellaneous expenses covered. Thank you for giving if you have already or can give more; if you haven't would you please consider supporting us? We are also retaining counsel to file a wrongful death lawsuit next week.
