Coraline Needs Your Help to Ease Her Pain

Hi,
I come here to humbly ask for your help
in regards to my beautiful kitty girl, Coraline. Back in April of this year, I noticed my cat Coraline (13) passing blood in her urine. When I took her to the vet, she was treated for a common UTI; however, it never went away. With more thorough testing—blood and urine analysis, and ultrasounds—it was shown she has a mass in her bladder. The tests came back negative for cancer, so it was determined to be a blood clot. I was able to pay for her to get treatment for the blood clot through CareCredit; however, the testing and medications used all of the credit I had for her.

As of last night, she has been unable to pass urine, and it's causing her to strain. I took her to the vet this morning, and the blood clot is now assumed to be a cancerous mass as it's attached directly onto her bladder wall and unable to be moved.

I went home with an antibiotic as well as some pain medication to minimize inflammation and hopefully get her to finally pass some urine. However, the vet wants to do a full ultrasound with a radiologist to determine if it's cancerous or not, which is $489.

I recently got into a wreck, and all of my funds have gone directly to getting a new car as well as fixing my previous car, so I have little to no money in my name at this moment. I have to save for car insurance and my normal bills like rent and utilities, so I cannot afford to pay for the radiologist or any further treatment beyond what I spent today.

I have completely exhausted all my available funds, and it makes me completely heartbroken and helpless as I can't afford to make her comfortable or figure out what is causing this. I understand she is an older lady now, so this might be her time. However, she is still very lively, and I can tell she wants to still live and be here. I worry that if I have to put her down, her bonded twin sister, Luna, would go shortly after due to never not having Coraline by her side.

It pains me to ask for help like this, but I feel so entirely at a loss and helpless.

If I could make it to at least $1000, that would ensure I am able to pay for her screening and determine what medications or treatment needs to be done after. If it is cancerous, I am making the difficult decision to go ahead and put her to rest. But that alone would cost about $200 I also do not have. So in total, $1500 would be enough to see where she is at and it would pay for her to be comfortable and not in pain until I make the decision to put her down. Ideally, it is just a gnarly blood clot and medication can minimize it.

Anything would help. I've just had these babies since I was 12, and I don't know my life without them. I just don't want her to be in any more pain. I ask that you share and spread the word for me; I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,
