Cora came to Lakeshore Humane Society Inc. when she was a young kitten. Since then we found out that she has a heart murmur. We did an echocardiogram for her, and it was determined that she needs PDA surgery in order to live a long, and healthy life. Pets diagnosed with Patent Ductus Arteriosus have a mortality rate greater than 50% by one year of age.
