On July 25, 2020, law enforcement officers around the country, as part of "Cops on Top," will be hiking the highest peak in their respective states to honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice and have died in the line of duty.
A group of Maine's law enforcement officers and their supporters will be hiking Katahdin on that date. In support of my friends in law enforcement, including Portland Police Chief Frank Clark, I am seeking donations, all of which will go to the Maine Chiefs of Police Association Memorial Fund. This fund is used to update the Maine Law Enforcement Memorial Wall, and also allows the Association to provide monetary support to the next of kin of our Maine law enforcement officers in the hours and days after their fallen officer's death.
All donations will go to the Chief's Association. Thank you for your consideration and support of our Maine law enforcement officers!
