COPE's Annual Scholarship Fundraiser

My name is Catherine Margaret Walker; I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. On June 3, 2025, I graduated from Breck School in Golden Valley, Minnesota with honors. I was on the girls’ basketball and tennis teams, a leader of various affinity groups, and the editor of the school newspaper. This fall (2025), I will be attending the University of Michigan studying at the Ross School of Business where I will major in Business.

I am excited, happy, and honored to announce Minnesota COPE Program’s Annual Scholarship Fundraiser, which is aimed to raise ‘Dollars for the Scholars’ --- an amount of $8,000 for the organization and students for the 2025, fall semester. The funds raised will assist community youth as they embark on their college journeys.

Minnesota COPE Program is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist community scholars in attaining educational opportunities, key resources, and financial support necessary to achieve their highest academic, personal, and professional career goals.

COPE’s purpose is to provide resources and academic scholarships to high school and college students from the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Prospective scholars are invited to apply for the scholarship program by May 31st of each year.
