Coops Recovery Fund

It was about 8pm and Coop had left class to get dinner. On the way back to school to finish a project, a car not paying attention crossed in front of him on a busy and well lit street. This car did not stop and Coop ended up locking up and Tboned the car with the motorcycle in their passenger front wheel well. At the moment of impact his lower half slammed into the gas tank and then the handlebars, then he did a front flip over their hood and landed about 10-15 feet past their car. Coop landed on leg leg then my chest and then my face. Thankfully he was wearing his helmet and his backpack- those two things probably saved his life. Luckily cars stopped and rush to assistance keeping him still so the EMT's could get there and the kind people started first aid on the injuries they could.

Surgeries/injuries so far have included: nose (broken), Casting broken ribs, pelvis (installed a cage to hold it together due to it snapping in 2 places), tail bone fractures, bladder (laceration), penis and testicles (lacerations and removed one testicle due to rupture), legs (reconstruction of knee and ankle and placed a rod due to fractures) and multiple incision surgeries to fix blood build ups and additional repairs. Over 15 doctors involved and 10+ hours in surgeries. The doctors are hopeful that in 3 months, he will be able to learn to walk again but until then it's just time to heal.

Coop has ALWAYS done anything and EVERYTHING for EVERYONE. He does not have family around and is on his own. He is going through this tough time each day pushing through the best he can and we need to come together to help the man who has all helped us. This is affecting his career, college, military and home settings.
