Cooperstown Dream - 434 Elite Baseball

434 Elite (now Braves) baseball has been a godsend for this group of 11 and 12 year old young men. The opportunity to play baseball has been a bright spot in these recent otherwise dark months. The team is comprised of players from three different counties in central Virginia including Fluvanna, Goochland and Albemarle. They are a richly diverse group who have created a strong bond in a short period of time - it’s nothing short of remarkable. So much so, the team got a ticket to Cooperstown, NY! This once-in-a-lifetime experience comes with a hefty price tag.


Over the next few months, these guys are going to be working hard to raise money to pay for their trip through yard sales, bake sales, car washes, community events and more. In addition, they are humbly asking for the support of those who are willing and able. In return, the team has  pledged to participate in community service each month until they head to Cooperstown in August 2021.


All donations will go directly to the players’ admission fee of $1,295 each. The total team cost is $14,295, so they have lots of work to do starting now. If you’d like to make a donation as a Christmas gift or in honor of someone special, 434 Elite will graciously acknowledge them.
