Cooper’s Veterinarian Care
On Friday, April 17th our Corgi, Cooper had an accident that broke his jaw. We believe he was kicked in the mouth by a deer. Due to the extent of the break in the jaw, without the surgery, his ability to eat would be impaired. Cooper is a wonderful companion to both my husband, who is living with Alzheimer’s as well as to myself. He is an important member of our family. The surgery to repair a break in the jaw such as his is considered extensive. The surgery to his jaw had to be performed at Kansas State University’s Veterinary college. The cost of his surgery was just over $4000. Cooper is expected to recover nicely and continue to live a wonderful life and will be back to endless hours of playing frisbee with us once again. We are fortunate to have friends and family who have voiced that they would like to support Cooper and assist with his veterinarian care. If you so desire, Cooper and I are grateful for donations of any amount. Or if you would just like to leave an encouraging message, that’s wonderful as well! Thank you to you all in advance! Much love!
