We recently bought a puppy named Cooper. Little did I know he was very sick. After taking Cooper to the Vet the first time he had pneumonia, hook worms and a very small nasal passage. Everyone told me to get rid of him but it was love at first site. He wasn't getting any better so we tried stronger meds. A few days after the 2nd visit I had to bring him back to the vet. He had gotten worse. I was then told to give more meds and contact a surgeon ASAP. I did not expect to have a sick puppy and all the bills that come with it. We are a military family living off one income. Times are tight right now. I have never asked or help before so this is all new to me. Thank god there are awesome people willing to help. We then raised $1,200 which covered all his appointments including blood work, X-rays, etc.. I got the estimate for surgery which is going to be 1,800-2,200.
