Cooper's Medical Emergency Fund

My name is Brittany and I am hoping to raise money for my dear friend who has gone through an unimaginable experience trying to save her best friend, Cooper.

Over the past couple of days, Cooper has been through emergency surgery to remove a blockage from his intestines, experienced seizures and is unfortunately not close enough to be out of the woods. The money raised is to help his owner, Brooke, cover the costs of the growing medical bills. Please take a moment to read more about Cooper's story below. <3

A soul mate is described as someone you can't imagine your life being without. When Brooke first met Cooper at an adoption event, his tentative demeanor went away and he immediately melted into her lap, solidifying that this quote is very real. Ever since that day, he's been the most loving & cuddly companion for Brooke and anyone who gets to know him!

On Sunday, January 22nd, Brooke came home to her bathroom trash turned over and some items were strewn across the floor. As Cooper seemed to be acting normal, she simply believed he went investigating in the wrong place. Unfortunately, Cooper was a bit too curious with his investigation as he began getting sick later that night. Brooke soon discovered that Cooper had attempted to eat tampons he found in the trash.

As Cooper did not seem to be getting better by the morning, Brooke took him to the VET ER and they discovered that some of the tampon(s) were stuck in his intestines. Cooper immediately was taken into emergency surgery to remove the blockage and then kept for observation.

Shortly after Cooper arrived home from the VET on Wednesday, he began getting sick again and unfortunately experienced a seizure. Brooke immediately took him to the VET ER again where he was given liquids and anti-seizure medicine. Being that they couldn't do more for him at this time, Brooke came home with Cooper in the early morning hours on Thursday. Unfortunately, Cooper continued to be sick and Brooke is continuing the process of attempting to help save her little soul mate's life.

Money is extremely tight right now for many people - but I hope with the help of various people donating even a little bit each, we can help relieve at least some of the financial burdens Brooke is going through so she can focus on making sure Cooper is around for much longer.
