Pincrest Vet needs $2850 for the surgery to remove a large blockage in coopers small intestine!!

This is Cooper, he was 7 weeks old when he joined our family. He will be 7 years old on April 20th. I originally decided to get him for my son to have an emotional support animal. I always jokingly say to people we are his emotional support people. If you have ever met him you know how wonderful he is and what a good boy he is. He’s like Scooby Doo and Eeyore mixed. He has always acted like an old man and curious but scared of everything!!

Cooper started having issues keeping his food down this past month. I thought it was from food change so I put him back on his normal food but things have gotten worse. The past few days he hasn’t eaten much and then he started refusing to eat at all. I took him to a emergency vet hospital and they took a X-ray but didn’t see anything but said there are some areas that could be of concern and they took a blood sample that showed slight sign of inflammation. They didn’t give me much of any options. At that point we’ve already paid $750 and they suggested surgery to see if anything was obstructing his gastrointestinal system. For that they said it will be $3000-$5000

sadly I cannot afford that I didn’t and don’t want to ask for help but at this point I don’t know what else to do.

Cooper is my best friend, he’s my son brother and they act just like that. I’m doing all I can to make him comfortable but I can’t sit back at watch my boy deteriorate.

I know times are hard for everyone right now. I don’t want to ask for hand outs and I don’t want to put anyone in a bad position even if you could just share this that would mean the world to me!!
