A little boy with the biggest personality….that is Cooper! A boy that brightens the day of everyone he meets! This little ball of energy has been dealt a bad hand…….over and over again.
Cooper has relapsed (the Leukemia has returned). Due to this relapse and the consequences associated with the possible failure of the upcoming treatments, they as a family have decided that they must spend the next few months together. This means Steve (Coppers Dad) will be taking a leave of absence from his job. The financial burden is going to be significant and we are asking for help from family and friends to relieve some of their stress to focus on what is most important at a time like this. We are reaching out to the amazing support system and community that they belong to. We ask you to please share Cooper and his family’s story with your friends and family to help spread the word and to help this family if you can.
For those do not know the events associated with Coopers battle please read the following.
Last November he was diagnosed with Leukemia…he underwent 6 months, and 4 rounds of intensive chemotherapy in Syracuse. In May he and his family celebrated the end of treatment and went home to resume their lives…… …their lives that now included a newborn baby, Hope, who was born in the midst of the hardest time of their lives.
They just learned that Cooper’s leukemia is back on Monday!
This means that he needs to undergo more intensive chemo therapy to prepare his body for a bone marrow transplant. He will receive 1-2 months of chemotherapy treatment in Syracuse followed by a bone marrow transplant in Philadelphia or Rochester. We will be providing updates on GoFundMe, Face Book and the Caring Bridge (www.caringbridge.org).
Thanks for your thoughts, prayers and continued support.
Cooper and Family
I am David Cole from Binghamton NY and Cooper Busch's Grandfather. The monies raised here on GoFundMe will be used to pay for medical and other expenses expenses not covered by insurance related to Coopers treatments for leukemia. The money will be given to Coopers mother to be placed in a special account set up for Cooper to help pay these expenses.
Thanks AGAIN for your prayers, kind words, and donations............Dave
