Cooper the Trooper - Road to Kidney Transplant

Cooper was born with Stage 5 Vesicoureteral Reflux (VUR) and kidneys that are operating at 10% or less. Recently little Cooper began receiving Peritoneal Dialysis treatments to combat his elevating phosphorus levels. Thankfully his little body is responding well to the dialysis treatments. Cooper will continue to need and receive dialysis treatments until his kidney transplant.

Cooper has been in the NICU since his late June birth and Kasey and Stephen make daily drives to and from the hospital. When Cooper is finally able to come home from the hospital, his parents will be providing his medical care and dialysis treatments.
