Hi everyone, my name is Kelsey. I am sharing this on behalf of my good friend Allysa and her husband, Cooper.
After having a seizure at home on Sunday, March 7, Cooper was rushed to the hospital where a mass was discovered in his brain. Because of the size of the mass, the safest course of action was to sedate him and place him on a ventilator to give his body a chance to recoup as we analyzed what our next steps would be.
We are still on "Round 1" where the goal is to stop all seizure activity and allow his brain to continue to rest.
There has been such a great support system, providing meals for Allysa as well as constant prayers, encouragement, positive thoughts, and love. While all of this has been greatly appreciated and will continue to be needed, the financial burden is going to be heavy. Allysa is a nurse, but unable to work for the foreseeable future while she makes important decisions for Cooper.
This page is to help relieve some of the financial strain that the medical bills and living expenses will have on Allysa and Cooper.
Whatever you are able to give will be a great blessing to both of them. If you are not able to donate at this time, they would both appreciate your prayers, kind thoughts, and love.
Thank you.
Here is Cooper’s CaringBridge page for any updates:
