Cool Beans Cat Cafe Needs You After Water Damage

First, the cats are fine.

Cool Beans Cat Cafe was 24 hours away from its grand opening in their new location when a water line broke and flooded the cafe area overnight. We lost all of our equipment and a good bit of furniture. Even with the plumbing company taking full responsibility, insurance may not cover the entire replacement costs. Espresso machines cost thousands of dollars, even used ones.

The cafe is how we provide a place for the foster cats. We make no money from the cat adoptions. Every bill is paid by the cafe’s profits, and right now we can’t make anything and we can’t open.

I would love to be able to do a “soft opening” soon, but I need to replace at least some of our equipment first. This GoFundMe is to ease some of the costs of that.
