Since many of the vendor agreements we have in place to run Cool Aid don't provide refunds in case of cancellation, we have taken quite a hit to our “rainy-day” fund. Thank goodness we HAVE a rainy-day fund, or we would be in quite a pickle today.
Who will benefit? You will, we all will. Cool Aid people everywhere will benefit by helping to defray the losses associated with needing to "postpone" our party until next year.
What will the funds will be used for? We will use your generous donation to replenish the Cool Aid rainy-day fund, and that means we can avoid the risk of any future dips in revenue that could occur. Think of it as an investment in the future of Cool Aid.
We covered the sunk costs for this year's postponed party, but our back-up reserve is pretty low right now. So, if you can help us raise that balance, we can rest assured that we can plan for our post Covid Comeback in 2022!
How much do we appreciate your generosity? Every year we marvel at the commitment of the People of Cool Aid to making this annual get-together a success. From ticket sales to volunteering all weekend, from rolling with the changes to just being cool, it takes a village to build our party, and means you. THANK YOU!
