Help Cooky With His Broken Leg

Friends and family are asking for your donations to help a Dave “Cooky” Pitts after a motorcycle accident that left him in Harborview Medical Center looking at multiple surgeries.

Cooky is a single father of three girls, residing in Mount Vernon after growing up in Anacortes. He is also the chef at the Porterhouse Pub, local business in downtown Mount Vernon. There’s a good chance even if you’ve never met the guy, you’ve enjoyed his cooking.

On March 2, he was involved in a motorcycle accident that left his right leg in casts hip to toe. It will be some time before he’s able to walk or work again, and we’d all appreciate any help you could send his way.

Funds will be used to help facilitate transportation to and from doctors offices, assisting in financial gaps related to housing costs, and assuring that his family has a back up plan to cover food and living expenses while he is in recovery. Thank you for your consideration and generosity.
