Hi , my name is Patrick and this is the story of our family friend and my close personal friend Raymond Mills. Ray has joined our family at holiday gatherings and other special events. From the beginning he was always a perfect fit. Rays lady Lynn, and I, lived together in San Francisco. What easy living years they were. I will never forget how he helped me when I was in a dark place. Over many awesome meals, we engaged in deep debates over science and just about any f*@#*g thing, not to mention stereo wars and that neither one of us will ever find or agree about the whereabouts of Schrodinger's cat. He is a Giants and 49ers fan, but I forgave him for that early on. I already alluded to what a great chef he is, but he is also one of the kindest, most considerate, and fun humans to be around. Ray was born in Jamaica and migrated to New York when he was very young. He then made his way to the west coast, settling in San Francisco and is a former chef at Google SF. He loves physics, science and old movies. He is a true Rastafarian (and I can testify to that but won't).

He has a beautiful and gentle spirit. My girlfriend has noted many times that you sense a feeling of peace around Ray. Like you are with someone who has wisdom beyond his years. With grace, he has been fighting cancer for a number of years. He has been hospitalized multiple times just this year. His prognosis is not good, but his attitude could not be better. This has been very rough for him and his lady Lynn, as well as our entire family. I am encouraging my family and friends to please donate to help cover the overwhelming medical costs and potential future arrangements. If I were in his place, he would most certainly do the same for me and anybody I know.
