Hi, my name is Glenn and I am fundraising to help with Cookie's surgery and recovery.

We have had cookie for 5 years now which originally was meant to be a temporary deal, however she bonded with our two now fifteen year old boys and we didn't have the heart to separate them.

Whilst away several hundred miles from home about to descend our second mountain of the day we got the call that no-one wants to have come through.

Cookie had been hit by a car, and not only that she had been left on the side of the road to die. If it wasn't for our neighbours discovering her and taking her to the nearest emergency vet then she would not longer be with us.

Cookie has had a heavily fractured rear leg which has resulted in her having an external cage fitted as well as a fractured hip, tailbone and suspected nerve damage in her front paw.

Whilst insurance will help with some of the costs we still face a large bill by the end of her recovery, we appreciate any help that can be given to get this lovely girl back to playing and terrorising the boys who are quite distressed she isn't around.

update 07/04/2025: We will be picking up Cookie from the vets today, the funds raised so far will pay for her X-rays in 6 weeks time and 3 of her follow up appointments
