My name is Niyah, and I'm a college student living far from home. Recently, my dog Cookie—who was always a perfectly healthy and happy companion—suffered a broken femur. This injury came as a shock, and it’s been incredibly hard to face the reality that she needs surgery. What makes it even more difficult is that I wasn’t the cause of her injury, yet I’m left to handle all the consequences on my own. Despite how unfair this feels, I’m determined to do everything I can to help Cookie recover and get back to her playful self.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward Cookie’s surgery and any post-operation care she needs. The estimated cost is high, and as a student, I simply don’t have the resources to cover it by myself. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in Cookie’s recovery and in easing the burden I’m carrying right now.

If you’re able to help, Cookie and I would be endlessly grateful. Your support means the world to us as we work through this difficult time. Thank you for considering a donation and for being part of Cookie’s journey back to health.
