COOKIE SLATT

"Più corro, più si sposta il traguardo”.

COOKIE SLATT è un collettivo cinematografico composto da ragazzi tra i 20 e i 30 anni provenienti da ogni parte d’Italia. Cookie Slatt non è solo un gruppo di lavoro, ma un movimento. Un’unione di diverse personalità che attraverso un costante scambio di energia cercano di spostare la propria asticella sempre più in alto.

Il team nasce nel 2023 durante la 24ª edizione del 48H Film Project, festival cinematografico di risonanza mondiale in cui più di duecento squadre sono chiamate a competere per scrivere, produrre e girare in massimo 48 ore un cortometraggio.

Con il loro “Buona da Morire” i COOKIE SLATT si aggiudicano la vittoria non solo del miglior film, ma anche della migliore sceneggiatura.

Da quel momento parte un viaggio: da Roma arrivano in Portogallo in rappresentanza dell’Italia a livello mondiale.

Grazie alla vittoria dell'Audience Award al FilmaPalooza di Lisbona i COOKIE SLATT approdano con “Buona da Morire” in uno dei festival cinematografici più importanti a cui si potrebbe ambire: lo Short Film Corner del Festival di Cannes. Nel 2024 decidono di mettersi nuovamente in gioco alzando la posta in palio: 6 ore in meno. I COOKIE SLATT partecipano al 42H Film Festival dove l'ingranaggio già collaudato e ben oliato permette loro di conquistare il premio “Miglior Troupe”.

IL PROGETTO

Dopo un anno e tanti cambiamenti, I COOKIE SLATT hanno deciso di cambiare marcia e rimettersi in gioco. Le regole sono sempre le stesse:

Tutto questo per gareggiare con i miglior Team direttamente per gli unici YES WE CANNES. Competizione internazionale annessa al 48h Film Project dove a competere sono unicamente i migliori film dell’edizione precedente, provenienti da tutti gli Stati.

Stati Uniti, Sud Africa, Brasile... e Italia… rappresentata proprio da 20 ragazzi che un giorno riconoscendosi hanno deciso di denominarsi COOKIE SLATT, la "gang del biscotto".

Il budget che intendiamo raggiungere rappresenta il 65% del totale previsto per il nostro progetto. Questa campagna di crowdfunding è fondamentale per raccogliere i fondi necessari alle riprese e al noleggio dell’attrezzatura indispensabile (macchina da presa, obiettivi, filtri, luci…) per realizzare un cortometraggio in sole 48 ore. L'obiettivo è quello di alzare ulteriormente l'asticella, permettendoci di osare e di stupire il pubblico con un lavoro di alta qualità. Ogni donatore sarà riconosciuto con un ringraziamento speciale nei titoli di coda del film e avrà un posto in prima fila alla proiezione speciale del cortometraggio dove lo aspetteranno grandissime sorprese...

COOKIE SLATT is a film collective made up of young people between the ages of 20 and 30 from all over Italy. Cookie Slatt is not just a workspace, but a movement. It is a union of diverse personalities that, through a constant exchange of energy, seek to raise their standards ever higher.

The team was formed in 2023 during the 24th edition of the 48H Film Project, a globally recognized film festival in which more than two hundred teams are called to compete by writing, producing, and shooting a short film in a maximum of 48 hours.

With their film “Buona da Morire,” COOKIE SLATT won Best Film award and the ambitious Best Screenplay award. From that moment, a journey began: they left Rome and arrived in Portugal representing Italy on a global stage.

Thanks to winning the Audience Award at FilmaPalooza in Lisbon, the COOKIE SLATT team brings 'Buona da Morire' to one of the most prestigious film festivals on the planet: the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival.

In 2024, they decide to challenge themselves again by raising the stakes: 6 hours less. COOKIE SLATT participates in the 42H Film Festival, where their well-oiled and proven mechanism allows them to win the 'Best Crew award."

After a year of many changes, COOKIE SLATT decided to shift gear and aim even further. The rules are always the same:

All this to compete with the best teams directly for the one and only YES WE CANNES. An international competition associated with the 48h Film Project where only the best films from the previous edition, coming from different country, are allowed to compete in United States, South Africa, Brazil... and Italy... represented by 20 young individuals who one day, around a wooden table covered in pizzas and beers, decided to name themselves COOKIE SLATT, the "cookie gang."

BUDGET AND OBJECTIVES.

The budget we aim to reach represents 65% of the total expected for our project. This crowdfunding campaign is essential for raising the necessary funds for shooting and renting the essential equipment (camera, lenses, filters, lights…) to create a short film in just 48 hours. Our goal is to raise the bar even higher, allowing us to take risks and amaze the audience with high-quality work. Every donor will be acknowledged with a special thank you in the film's credits and will have a front-row seat at the special screening of the short film, where they will be greeted with incredible surprises!
