Miss Di, aka Aunt Di, aka Cookie the Clown, needs our help. Those of you who know and love this beautiful mum, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and colleague to so many, will have heard that she has recently been diagnosed with with grade 3 invasive breast cancer. This is devastating news for such a special person who spends her days giving so much to so many people. So many lives have been touched by our beautiful, Di Olsen.

She will have either painted your child’s face, entertained at their birthday party, cared for your child, gifted you flowers, cookies or a care package, served you at McDonalds, donated to your charity or supported a community event.

There are an array of communities whose children have been privileged to have had Miss Di care for them.

Di has 3 beautiful adult children who are rallying around her at present to help and support her.

Di is scheduled to have an array of tests and scans over the coming week to prepare for the commencement of chemotherapy that will last 18 weeks, followed by surgery then continued radiation therapy and chemotherapy for another 12 months.

Di has been dealt another devastating blow this week after being advised that she will not be able to continue her line of work while undergoing treatment, as she will be immunocompromised. Di has dedicated her whole adult life to caring for children as both an early childhood educator and as her alias Cookie the Clown. Not only will this have life changing emotional and psychological effects, it will also have a devastating financial effect as Di will no longer have a source of income.

We would love to be able to give back to someone so giving and to help with the financial burden that Di will have to endure at this devastating time.

We understand that the past 2 years have been difficult for families experiencing effects from the Covid 19 pandemic and it is also very close to Christmas, however we seek your help to show the same love and support that Di is known to show others.
