Cookie and Britton Need our Help

My name is Carrie Reed and I currently live in Norfolk, Virginia. I went to school with Britton Bocook. Unfortunately in 1989 he was in a horrible accident and wasn’t supposed to survive. It is a miracle that he lived. He suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury that has greatly impacted his life. He is with his mom Cookie and is currently residing in Florida. They have not been without struggles or challenges over the past 30+ years. Britton needs assistance in many day to day tasks and requires 24 hour care. Cookie has been by his side and the two of them have weathered many storms.

When the warning came about evacuating for hurricane Ian, Cookie packed up Britton and their dog and headed to a shelter. They all survived the storm, but their home did not. They lost everything. Please, if you are able to, make a donation to help Cookie and Britton. We want to get them back to Annapolis to be with friends and family. They really need a lot of love and support right now.
