On September 5, 2025, the Cook family faced the unimaginable. A lightning strike hit their home, sparking a fire that burned for nearly two hours. By the time it was extinguished the house was a total loss.

Thankfully the Cooks and their 4 children escaped safely, but the fire sadly destroyed all their belongings, clothing, and treasured memories. Now they face the daunting task of replacing essentials and rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
