I have been diagnosed with degenerative arthritis in my hips, and I have to have hip replacement. The condition is deteriorating to the point where I can no longer put off the surgery, and the pain is getting worse each day. My ability to move my right leg is getting worse and worse, and I have about 40 percent movement.
The Veterans Administration won't cover it, so I have to go to private medical services to get the surgery. There are four different deductibles for the surgery. Even with my insurance from work I am looking at several thousand dollars in medical bills, in addition to the time lost at work for surgery and recovery. I am hoping to raise enough money to cover my deductibles and living expenses while I recover.
