Our park slope restaurant began in November 2000. We raised our two kids while working to serve this great neighborhood genuine Italian food, my husband is from Italy. Since then, we have weathered 9/11, Hurricane Sandy, 2008 crisis, but we have never seen anything like this virus crisis. It is devastation to the hospitality business. We are struggling to keep as many of our staff working just doing pick up and delivery and following strict guidelines to keep everyone safe. Many of them have families themselves and depend entirely on their wages and tips.
This crisis threatens to kill the heart and soul of this city, it’s small mom and pops, bars and theatres. We urge anyone out their that can support small businesses like ours that the form the backbone of
