Convento

I am an English sculptor and my wife is also an artist from Switzerland. We have restored several old buildings over the past 25 years. The funds we hope  to raise from this campaign, will go towards finishing the convent. Mainly pointing and repair work of the outer walls and also the positioning of a large glass dome over the sanctuary which is currently open to the elements. We have been restoring this magnificent 16th century convent, in the heart of Catalunya, for the past four years. All our passion, money and hard work goes into the building. It is nearly finished!  We invested already about 100K of our own money without help from anyone but now the funds are all gone! Anyone who is passionate about old stones will understand how important it is to get this done. We are really proud to have saved this 400 year old building from total collapse and believe it is an important part of the local heritage which needs to be protected.
Our goal is to offer the place as an event venue for concerts, art exhibitions and charitable events.
