Hi everyone! My name is Mary Ann, and I am Sonny Watson's sister. As many of you know, Sonny was supposed to be moving from California to Pennsylvania last week to live with my husband Bill and me. Unfortunately, while we were waiting for our house to be completed, Sonny's health deteriorated, and he developed Covid and pneumonia. He ended up in the hospital and was having such a difficult time breathing that they moved him to the ICU because they thought they were going to have to intubate him. So, instead of my husband coming to California to help move Sonny to PA, I flew out to see him in the ICU. Fortunately, he did (narrowly) escape intubation.

The great news is that he has improved and was discharged from the hospital on Thursday, and is currently in a rehab facility. He is there to help him with his health issues and for physical therapy, as he has been unable to walk due to pain and swelling in his legs and feet. I'm not sure how long that will take. That depends on him, as I know he feels defeated with all of this.

I am starting this GoFundMe page to help with his medical, moving/storage, housing expenses, and all of the other expenses that we werent prepared for. I'm not sure if and when he will be able to come to PA. Once he is out of rehab, he may need to have temporary housing until we can get him moved.
