Dear friends,
We bought a house in Brooklyn! This is our "forever home." It's two blocks from The Finch and a ten minute walk to Jasper's school. We plan on staying here for a long time (i.e. forever).
We both landed in NYC 20 years ago, on our own, but with the same wide-eyed enthusiasm for exploring life and all the different paths it has taken us on. Food, punk rock, art, yoga, food! And so many of you were a part of those journeys. Now, many years later, we are continuing that journey together, with a shared life, in a shared home, as a family.
Buying this house is both exciting and terrifying all at once, and it will take a LOT of work. Your contribution will help us put a stoop on the front, replace all the plumbing and electricity, put on a new roof, put in a bathtub! (it’s a full gut job) - and make it warm and welcoming place. And we want you to come visit, stay in our guest room, and hang out in the backyard.
The future is here, and we are so very, very lucky.
