It is with a shattered heart that I've had to make this gofundme and ask for help. My mom, Melinda, has suddenly passed away.

She was diagnosed with stage IV Non Small Cell Lung Cancer Adenocarcinoma in August. She has struggled for years with illness and finally had gotten an answer for the dibilitating symptoms as this was a slow growing cancer that she appears to have been suffering from for a long time. Since the cancer had not metastisized too distantly and she was only 47, the cancer team was hopeful that they could get her into remission with aggressive chemotherapy and radiation that was set to start on October 1st.

She unfortunately did not have a life insurance policy and was on a very limited income. She was feeling okay and in good spirits about starting treatment so her death was sudden and unexpected and very difficult to process.

We likely will not have the funds for a service, and it seems that just cremation is quite expensive so anything you can contribute is exttemely appreciated as it's hard for me to even ask for this type of help.
