As Kyrie's grandma, I am deeply saddened to share that our family has suffered an unbearable loss. My two-year-old grandson was taken from us far too soon. He had such a radiant smile that it could illuminate an entire room, and his infectious laughter will be deeply missed. As a typical two-year-old, Kyrie's presence was a blessing, filled with laughter, curiosity, and energy, which kept us on our toes at all times. He loved to be held by aunts, uncles, papa, and grandma and fall asleep while cuddled safely in their arms.
Ryan is grappling with heartbreak that no father should ever have to endure. He is struggling to come to terms with Kyrie's passing and find a way to explain it to his older son, who is three years old, why Kyrie is no longer with us. When he asks for his brother and why he can no longer snuggle or play with him, it is a painful reality that should never have to be explained, and the heartbreak that follows when he finally realizes he will never see his brother again is devastating. How do you explain that to a child in a way he'll understand?
Our family is currently seeking help with funeral expenses to ensure that our beloved Kyrie receives a dignified farewell. We appreciate any contribution, regardless of size, and are grateful for the overwhelming support and prayers we have received during this challenging time. If you are unable to contribute financially, please share this message as any help is greatly appreciated.
